Dipta Dasgupta specializes in glass mural. Born in the year 1962 he has established himself as a reputed artist and poet of Bengal. He has already written twelve books on Art and Literature. Apart from writing stories and novels, he transcreated Charyapada completely in poetic verses in Bengali. He served as a Lecturer of Journalism and Art Director of different agencies. Presently, he is working as an art advisor of 'Aryan School' Kolkata. Dipta Dasgupta held four solo exhibitions of paintings in Kolkata at Academy of Fine Arts and one in Delhi Lalit Kala Academy in the years 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994 and 1998 respectively. He also participated in many art-shows in Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad. Two of his art-shows with Lila Dasgupta at Chitrakoot Art Gallery and Nati Binodini Art Gallery in Kolkata were inaugurated by the two legendary personalities, Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Sankhya Ghosh.
